What Should I Expect?

Visiting a new church for the first time can be a little intimidating.  It can even be a little scary, but you can completely relax at Grace.  We don’t pressure, we don’t judge, we don’t make people do impromptu public speaking…just come as you are!  We want you to be encouraged, inspired, and happy that you’ve been to church.  Oh, and there is always good coffee in the foyer!

Great question, but we don’t have a “dress code”!  We really don’t care what you wear.  You will see some people in jeans and some in shorts; most will be casual and comfortable.  Whatever works for you! Just come join us!

Our worship service is upbeat and contemporary – each week you may hear worship that is a mixture of new and old songs.  During the message, we hope to communicate timeless biblical truths in a relevant and practical way.  The services typically last about 75 minutes! Overall, we hope you’ll find a meaningful worship experience where you’ll leave encouraged and challenged to grow in your relationship with God.

We are a family-focused church, that believes children can have a great time as they learn about God’s love for them. During weekend services, we have a nursery (birth through preschool) for the entire service, but your children are also welcome to join you as well. Elementary school-aged children worship alongside the adults during the worship time and then are dismissed to fun age-appropriate classes, while the teaching takes place in the auditorium.  Often, children have so much fun, it is common for parents to tell us their children ask regularly to come back to our church! Your child’s safety is our biggest concern.  Our nursery workers have been very carefully screened, and all volunteers who work with children are required to pass background checks as well.

We look forward to seeing you this weekend! If you have any questions, please feel free to email us, or call or text us at (817) 428-8977.
