MAKING SPACE FOR OTHERS
Letter from Pastor Brandon
When our children were little, Dana dreamed of having a large dining room table to host more people at our home. Although we didn’t have much money, she saved and bought us a table at a yard sale that fit eight people – a significant step up from our small dining table that barely fit our family! We made many great memories around that table. As our relationships grew, that table eventually became too small, and we began to feel the need for a bigger table.
Then, one Christmas, I built Dana a much bigger table that could seat 14 people. It took a few weeks to build, a few splinters, and several trips to Home Depot. It cost a little more than I anticipated—but the sacrifice was worth it as many of you have sat around our dining table and made memories. You’ve laughed, cried, talked, played games, been set free, gave your lives to the Lord, had your marriages enriched…and so much more!
The cost was more than worth it.
As a church, our “table” is getting a little tight. Out of our three services. two are almost out of room. This is an incredible blessing from God as many others have found their place at Grace and their lives have been transformed. But, if we want to continue to impact people, we need to make more room at the table for them. Now is the time to “build a bigger table” so others can enjoy the feast!
Just as we were welcomed to the table by others who sacrificed before us, we need to make an equal sacrifice to make more room for others. The cost will be worth it!
TRANSFORMED LIVES
Here at Grace, it’s always been our heart to welcome others into the family of God. God has planted us in Hurst, Texas to impact the community and see lives transformed by the saving power of Christ. We’ve seen hundreds of lives transformed, and we’re just getting started!
BUILDING WITH STEWARDSHIP
Stewardship is at the heart of our planning. We plan to utilize our current facility while adding what’s needed to serve our members and the Hurst community. Our current auditorium will be converted into communal space with connecting areas like a larger lobby, cafe, and a conference room.

We are most excited about our new, well-secured kids area, which will only be accessible to authorized staff and volunteers. Larger classrooms and fenced-in playground areas will accommodate our growing kids’ ministry.

The most significant addition will be a brand new 430-seat auditorium with additional parking. This will allow more space for new people to join us for weekend services. We plan to return to two services on Sunday, and once those services are filled (around 800 people), we hope to plant another Grace church in the DFW area.

WHAT WILL IT LOOK LIKE?

CAPITAL CAMPAIGN GOAL
Our campaign goal is $3-3.5 million.
As a church, we recognize this is impossible without God, but we have already seen God’s hand at work! In the few weeks leading up to the launch of our campaign, a small group has committed to $935,000 toward our campaign goal. We have seen many within Grace commit to giving with equal sacrifice, meaning we’ll each carry the load God gives us.
