– 1 Timothy 2:8
Grace Family,
Today our team flies out for the country of Georgia. I’d like to let you all know that in our recent mission offering, our church raised over nine thousand dollars to give to Georgia! Thank you for your faithfulness to hear the Lord and invest in His Kingdom! We have had such a wonderful opportunity to connect with churches across this wonderful nation.
You all would love the Georgian people. They are welcoming, joyful, optimistic, and a lot of fun to be around! One thing I admire is their faithfulness to trust God over the long term. Over the past few trips, we’ve had the chance to meet and get to know Pastor George, who goes by Gia. In April, we had the chance to eat a meal at their church building – an abandoned Soviet tank assembly plant. When we visited last September, his church was driving over an hour to meet in another city, while believing God and working on their building. During our visit in April, they had built the second story and were working to make the bottom floor ready so they could begin meeting in their own city. They really do get it… faith is long-term! I look forward to seeing Pastor Gia and the progress on their building, but even more so, I look forward to hearing the stories of how their long-term faithfulness has transformed lives for Jesus Christ.
Please continue to pray for the people of Georgia as God continues to build His Kingdom!
