“But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light. Once you were not a people, but now you are the people of God.” – 1 Peter 2:9-10

GCF Family,

God gave us a beautiful gift in each other. What a privilege it is to be “planted in the house of God” and built together as the people of God. This week we talked about being Rooted in Relationships and discussed the five relationship principles we live by at Grace. God’s been casting his vision that Grace is a place where the hopeless and wounded find hope and healing. This can only happen through the beautiful work of Jesus Christ to connect us together.  I’d like to encourage you to read 1 Peter 2:1-10 because it reveals God’s heart for relationships within His body – the church.

The church… the people of God… is one of the most beautiful things God created. When the church works hand-in-hand, its glory surpasses the most incredible sunrise. When God’s people are knitted together by the love of Jesus Christ, they are an unstoppable force. When we plant our feet firmly in the house of God and let God unite us together with other believers… all of hell quakes!  It’s no wonder our enemy works so diligently to divide us. I’d like to encourage you to watch or re-watch Sunday’s message as we move into launching our Life Group season.

Speaking of Life Groups… do you have one?
