GCF Family,

What an incredible time of prayer and fasting this has been. I’ve heard testimony after testimony of people hearing clearly from God during this time. One of the most precious gifts available to us is to hear from God and know that we are on track with His plans for us.

2 Timothy 1:7 states “For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control. This week has been an opportunity to utilize these three provisions of the Spirit – self-control (fasting), love (praying for salvation for others), and power (our focus today)! When God moves in power is often called revival – the revival of the believers and the revival of the Spirit. Here’s what Arthur Wallis says in his book, In the Day of Thy Power:

“…revival is divine intervention in the normal course of spiritual things. It is God revealing Himself to man in awful holiness and irresistible power. It is such a manifest working of God that human personalities are overshadowed and human programs abandoned. It is man retiring into the background because God has taken the field. It is the Lord making bare His holy arm and working in extraordinary power on saint and sinner.”

Today, we petition heaven for God to move in power like this through Grace! We pray that God moves tremendously through each of us…that He unlocks each of our gifts and callings so we can impact the world around us! Most often, when God moves, it’s because His people are deeply motivated to seek Him, and they believe wholeheartedly that He will move! Faith is such a needed and necessary ingredient so don’t lose heart…keep faithful in prayer and seeking Him!

This evening at 7 pm is our Immerse Worship and Prayer Service.  Would you pray for God to touch someone powerfully this evening as Grace gathers to worship our King? Also, would you commit to joining us tonight as we seek to sit in His presence and enjoy Him? I encourage you to come a little early and be ready for what God has in store! We look forward to seeing you tonight.

Will you be at Immerse?
